Brianna: Self-Love Movement

Alyx is a Northwest Arkansas boudoir photographer who believes that every body is beautiful and worthy of love. She started the Sheer Boudoir Self-Love Movement to help normalize normal bodies and to encourage women all over the Northwest Arkansas area to share their stories and journeys to self-love and acceptance. The stories shared are unique to each individual and are each woman’s own words.

Brianna is a wife and mama of two sweet girls! When she sent in her application for the self-love movement, she said that she wanted to help teach her 8- and 3-year-old daughters that all bodies are beautiful.

“I think that [self love] means accepting your body and yourself in whatever phase of life and situation that you’re in and just really being accepting of it and appreciating how far it’s brought you in life.”

“After I had two daughters, [I] realized that I didn’t have the person growing up that made me feel comfortable in my body and I don’t ever want my girls to question how beautiful they are with their imperfections…so I’ve just [had] to get to a point where I can truly be in love with myself so I can teach them the same things.”
